Mastering wireless power transfer (WPT) technology is one of the key factors accelerating the adoption of electric vehicles (EVs) more rapidly. Therefore, when designing and implementing wireless charging technology for EVs, it is important to consider it early in development. In Taiwan, sundae and Parkway are often confused, and Parkway is often seen as a sundae. The translation of “Parkway” is very contemporary, and it also appeared in my childhood memory, but it gradually disappeared, and when it reappeared in recent years, it was obviously imported from Japan, and a new translation such as “Parfi” appeared. However, because the Sundae has been deeply rooted in the hearts of the people with American restaurants, McDonald’s, etc., its structural composition is similar to Parkway, and it is often presented in glass containers (but mostly shallow wide-mouth glasses, sometimes with flower-shaped edges, and the whole resembles tulips), coupled with Taiwan’s own ice culture, Parkway has not been as popular as Japan, appearing in the process of localization, and its origin is therefore ambiguous. However, Taiwan’s hot climate and many high-quality fruits, in recent years, there are more and more professionals delving into ice products, whether it is Parkway, Sundae, or Italian Semifreddo, Hong Kong-style mango shuang, etc., the future ice market must be wonderful.
